Finding a suitable place to stay:
	Wherever you decide to stay, make sure that it suits your vacation needs by being close to all the attractions you want to visit. Be aware! If you visit an accomodation website with far-off views of the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge across the water, then it is quite likely that the accommodation they offer is not near the city area! Check with them on how long it takes to travel to nearby attractions.
Taxis:
	Taxis: taxis are always abundantly available in the city, however the shift change occurs at 3:00am and 3:00pm, so it is almost impossible to find a cab between 2:30 and 3:30 in the morning and afternoons. Taxis become very hard to find in wet weather and around 11:00pm when many pubs and restaurants close and movies in cinemas end. It is also difficult to find taxis in peak hour, from 8:00am to 9:00am, and 5:00pm to 6:00pm. An available taxi is marked with a single yellow light on top, and you don't have to queue at a taxi stand — you can catch a taxi from anywhere. Call 131-008 (Taxis Combined) or 131-017 (Premier Cabs) to order a taxi.
